Mantis™ has reached its final form and is now being commissioned and calibrated for high-deposition welding trials.

In this update, CEO Mark Pivac takes us across Mantis™ and explains the technology behind the system, including its twin-wire welding torch, dual power sources, high wire-feed capability and ability to operate at significant heights.

Mantis™ has been designed from the ground up for large-scale fabrication environments, including shipbuilding, heavy structural steel fabrication, mining, defence, pressure vessels and infrastructure.

Mark also discusses the potential market opportunity for Mantis™, including FBR’s analysis of approximately 18,000 facilities globally that could potentially utilise the technology.
