INNOVATION IN THE MAKING

The first Mantis™ welding robot is now in production.

FBR’s Head of Engineering Nayeem Satar talks through the latest progress;

Welding head and structural components entering production.

Powered by Verbotics – seamless CAD integration for weld detection and planning.

FBR’s patented DST® technology enabling precision welding on large-scale, custom parts.

Mantis™ is designed for industries where flexibility meets scale – such as heavy fabrication sectors, including mining, shipbuilding, and large-scale industrial manufacturing. Unlike traditional welding automation, which is often locked to niche workflows or automotive production, Mantis™ delivers flexibility, accuracy, and scalability.

Since launch, we’ve had strong inbound interest from some of the largest players in their industries – companies ready to invest in automation that works.
